Jim, It sounds like some one has done some sloppy rewiring in your electrical compartment. If the fuel pump is running through the right contact of fuse #1 than the pump is hot wired to the ignition side of the electrical system with no fuse protection. This will overload that circuit, if there is no fuse to the fuel pump or RPM relay than you have a potential fire hazard. Before working on your fuel injection system I would suggest that you install an in-line fuse to protect the fuel pump circuit. You can contact us directly for instructions. Your console light (AC panel) problem is probably due to some additional wiring modifications. Once you get your electrical problems corrected we will help you with your fuel mixture.
