Hank, Thefts and attempted thefts of DeLoreans are very rare. Most standard theft methods do not apply to the DeLorean. The doorlock system is virtually pick proof, the ignition and electrical set-up are totally unfamiliar to most car thieves. In dealing with DeLoreans since 1983 I don't know of any incident of thefts or attempted theft of a DeLorean.
