The Venturi has a similar 2.8 block but is even-firing compared to the DMC's odd-firing setup!! The engine I think would theoretically fit, but the cost factor becomes the significant issue from this point...... Lotus told me £10,000 would pay for the twin-turbo V8 as fitted to the current Espirit models. The layout is the same and thus should fit. However the rotation of the gearbox is the opposite to the DMC. The cost of fitting this method would of course be additional........ For $20000/£12000 the 300hp Northstar has been tried and tested successfully. The 200hp+ 'Houston' route seems to be extremely cost effective..... The dyno testing for stages 2 and 3 (next year???) will certainly be something to look forward too!!!! Just something to think about..... The engine displaces the exact same 2849cc's as our PRV6 but the engine has the addition of twin turbos. The car is called th MVS Venturi 260 and can go 168mph and 0-60 in 5.1. I wonder if its possible to bolt this engine to the DMC?
