JZD was interviewed twice for Cleveland radio. The first was a live telephone interview by talk show host Paul Schiffer last Thursday. Mr. Schiffer repeatedly mentioned Ken Koncelik's DeLorean Car Show. Before the interview was over, JZD himself personally mentioned the upcoming DOA Expo in Las Vegas. The second was a recorded interview with local celebrity Carey Coleman which will debut this afternoon at 2:00 Cleveland time. Both radio personalities came to the three dinners. They assured me that both interviews will be archived to the web by the end of the week, and as soon as they are I will post the addresses to the DML. A reporter from WTAM 1100 also came to the Show and covered it as a news story. WTAM is a clear channel, 50,000 Watt AM station heard in many states and Canadian Provinces. However, I do not believe the news story will be archived to the web. I was told that at least five television stations sent camera crews (local NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX, and UPN stations). I know for a fact that at least two featured the Cleveland 2000 show on the evening news. Patti and I recorded the full 30 second story from Channel 43 (UPN) and distributed copies to DMLers from various cities in the hope that someone would stream it onto the web. It shows JZD with a huge smile on his face, the Brandys Time Machine (in action!), Dave Colley's red car, and the endless lineup of DeLoreans on the Pier. The news narration was favorable to the DeLorean automobile. Members of my family saw a similar story on Channel 5 (ABC) but only recorded the last five seconds of it. It featured Curtis Bryant's red car. I am told that a number of magazine reporters were there, too, although I personally only spoke to one of them. She mentioned that she had come from New York, but I was so rushed that I forgot to ask the name of her magazine. She may have been freelance. Between running the Tour and judging the Concours, I was pretty busy over the weekend. I may have missed some media presence. Does anyone else know of more media coverage at the Cleveland 2000 Show? - Mike Substelny
