> she was complaining he wouldn't sign her book, > t hink it was Stainless Steel Illusion. I overheard one woman telling another woman that near the PJ Grady table during the car show, and I'm pretty sure she was holding a copy of "Dream Maker: The Rise and Fall of John Z. DeLorean." She said something to the effect of, "He wouldn't sign this. Now I'm *really* going to have to read it!" Perhaps we're talking about the same woman, or maybe he prefers not to sign any of those types of books. While we're on the subject of John Z, I have to say I thought he was a tremendous sport for coming out and doing what he did. The guy is what, 75 or so years old now? To be out there in the heat, patiently signing autographs for everyone (well, almost everyone!), is pretty impressive in my book. Not only did he sign my June '81 Road & Track, but he even asked for my name so he could personalize the autograph. Pretty cool. _________________________ Todd Masinelli webmaster@xxxx http://www.jackiechan.net
