Brian, Chemical fog machines are breathable, although there is a distinct aroma. I have a Porsche 944 and was in the same situation as you last year at a show. Other than a faint residual scent on my seats (sheepskin covers), there was no residue on either the exterior or interior. The scent went away after a day of driving with the sunroof open. I would say from my past escapades that it would be a fun experience for you with no harm to your DeLorean.
