People admiring the car changes as quickly as the weather. Some days I can't go anywhere without gathering a crowd, others I go totally unoticed. The first night we picked our car up in Los Angeles, we got a few onlookers, but everyone looked out of the corner of their eyes. And as soon as they realized you noticed them, they quickly turned away. But once we got back to Vegas, people were more open in staring. As someone who grew up in L.A., it seems to me that people in California are not as relaxed as they used to be. However while I love my D, and it hasn't given me any major problems, driving it around town hasn't exactly been a stroll through the park... I don't know about other owners, but I run into alot of road rage while driving. I've driven by Ferraris, and NSX's with no problem, but whenever I run into either some middle aged guy in a Corvette, Viper, or Camaro, or some young idiot in a Honda, Acura, or some other type of "Rice Rocket", it never fails, they always want to cut me off! Wheather I'm on the interstate, or going down the street they will wait untill the last minute to swirve over in front of me, and I end up slamming my brakes. All because none of them could stand to let a DeLorean get ahead of them. I've been in an accident before, and I've seen how people get hurt. So it's not worth risking the lives of other bystanders on the road just so I can race some one, or to "teach them a lesson." But these other drivers just don't let up! Has anyone else here had any problems like this, or am I the only one? -Robert vin 6585 > It's funny, I've never had that happen.
