While we haven't picked up our car yet, we have already been down to LA to test drive, and film it (we're in Las Vegas, NV). While looking over the car, I noticed some unsual things, and had some questions that maybe I could clear up here on the list... The warning labels on our car all caution "Negative Earth." Is there any special differance between a car that has "Negative Earth", and "Negative Ground"? Another thing is this: If you look down through the enginge compartment on the passenger side of the car, where the facia curves down & forward, there is a stamping in white ink that reads, "1981 NOV 3". My question is what does this date signify? My VIN plate shows that my car is a NOV 1981 build, so could this stamp be when the facias were put on, or my car's actual "birthdate" from when it was completed? From the angle of the stamp, it looks as though someone reached under & around the bumper to hit this spot. It also looks as though they had to restamp the car because there are 3 seperate marks with 1 not making full contact with the surface the first time. When I get a chance, I'll upload pictures and you can see what I mean. Ideas? Thanks in advance. -Robert VIN 6585
