Fellow DMCer's, I must agree with Brain about our cars. I sorry I can not say I have read the editorial in the Delorean World, as I'm not a member. However, this list is one of the reasons I did buy my car. Not only does it provide a source of information, it has brought many of us together to become very good friends. While I have no bone to pick with the DOA, I do feel trying to lay blame on this list as a cause of our cars going down in value is like the pot calling the kettle black. If the DOA was more open to people like me I might join, however I have yet to see what the benifits of membership would bring me. Now before anyone gets upset and starts flaming me, let me explain. An organization whose charter or main reason for being is to promote ownership I feel should reach out to new owners and try to promote interest in the car. I know that the DOA has many events, but I for one can not travel long distances to attend. The DML is free to all. Anyone can read, post, and yes even disagree with each other. I'm sure the DOA does promote the car, but where is the reaching out to new owners? Instead of trying to lay blame on anyone, why not try and help each other? Is it just me or is this the same DOA that was going to sue James a few years ago, because of this list? I know many will disagree with me, and thats your right. I own an Delorean and always will, hopefully there will be a day when I will join the DOA. I just need more of a reason than a real good magazine ( Delorean World) to spend $65.00 a year to get. To the DOA good luck and I wish you the best. If anyDOA members want to discuss this please email me at ABatt10347@xxxxx DML, thank you for all the help thru the years and for letting me express my feelings. Bruce Battles Vin # 6569
