my car. First we tried a 1/2 pull bar with an adapter to 3/8 and the

Sears and TRIED to get a NICE 3/8 allen with a 1/2 inch drive. The guy says
Sears doesnt make one w/ a half inch drive so we will have to go from 1/2 to
3/8 with an adapter(again). He said it wont break "It's Craftsman". has
anyone else done this? using an adapter? >>
Yes, I replaced my passenger side torsion bar using Craftsman tools exactly
as you describe. I had no tool failures at all. One precaution I took was
to protect the rear window by covering it with 1/8" Masonite. Remember the
door is propped in the full open position when installing the torsion bar.
