Joe - I think you probably hit it on the head - the failure of the roll pin a couple years ago probably caused some damage to the mainshaft splines. Even though we welded the new roll pin in place, it just couldn't take the torque. I have a new mainshaft in my inventory, and have a new input shaft on its way from Houston. I will also be checking locally with some racer types on ideas to make the coupling tougher. I was curious, though about your comment on "roll pin failures due to plastic clutch lines" - is that a relationship you have encountered? Its not something I've seen at all, outside of my own rather unique situation. And you are right about the great "Arnie types" - they make it all worthwhile. -- Darryl Tinnerstet
