Re the door fingerprint problem. I always use my fingetips on the black molding near the door handle to pull it down....after a while there will be a few prints showing a little, which are easy to wipe off with a windex application. Re the rear engine cover. I pull it down with the latch just under the main center cover.....the last few inches it will snap down by itself. I always try to pull at the center and avoid "wracking" the louvres to prevent possibly cracking them. Another little niggly thing. When filling the gas tank, I always put the automatic lever as slow as it will go on the filler nozzle....then when finished, carefully turn it sideways right over the filler hole to catch any drips and carry it upside down to the pump. It only takes a second to be very careful and avoid gas smells. Mine has no flap and I like the smooth uncluttered looks better, but thats just a personal opinion. Most of us took what was there in the way of hoods and had no choice anyway as to type. Murray Vin:05962 Lic:DMC-XII Washington State
