Yeah, I feel sorry for Shannon too, the lowered D's look great but I am unable to afford springs, I have thought about cutting mine but will probably wait until I can afford new lower ones and do all the work at once. Any way, I have the name of a company that makes custom wheels for DeLoreans and they look pretty sharp. The company is William Kay Wheels 9 Brush Hill Road Suite 330 New Fairfeld, CT 06812 Phone 203-775-1998 Don't know if they have a web site. I'm saving up for a set of these too. -----Original Message----- From: Robert and Andrea <ragill@xxxx> To: dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxx <dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Thursday, March 02, 2000 10:09 AM Subject: [DML] Re: Lowering (and speeding in Toronto) Wow A lot of beating up on Shannon. Shannon I for one Have to agree on the turning radius, it is pretty poor. As far as the handling goes I think it is pretty good for a car built in the early eighties. I would not have cut the coils but anytime you lower the center of gravity the handling should improve. Spring rate is important so cutting coils is not the way to go. Does anyone have info on after-market rims. I would like to put 15 inch up front and 16 inch on back.
