Mark.......... Just don't put it on. I live in IL where they require front plates and I don't have them on any of my cars. Once I got pulled over in the Allante and was given a warning. The only other time was in the D in a REALLY bad part part of town. (The cop must have thought I was the local drug dealer or pimp driving through there in that car.) He comes up and says, "know why I pulled you over?" I say "I bet you want to know where the front plate is" "Yep!", he says. I grabbed the plate from behind the seat and showed it to him. He says, "good enough......So how do these doors work????" We ended up chatting for about 15 mintues (no warnings or anything) I wouldn't deface your D (or any other car) by putting an ugly front plate on it. I was told that IL front plate laws was for the meter maids in Chicago--they didn't want to have to walk around the back of the car to check the plate when doing parking meter checks. Who knows how true that is though.......... Anyway, if you still want on, all the D parts suppliers have them. --Jonathan #000697 "Tell your kids to say NO to front plates!!" --------------------------- Hello, all. Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Mark Fearer. I live in Manchester, New Hampshire. I joined the DeLorean Owners Organization as an enthusiast. Well, this weekend I aquired a 1981 DMC-12. New Hampshire requires a front plate. The car did not have a bracket for a front plate when I bought it. Did they ever make one? Where might I look for a front license bracket? Thanks in advance...
