[DML] More Engine Troubles

Group,

I am at a loss for knowledge! I am so excited that I might finally be 
getting a Delorean that all my automotive knowledge and reasoning has been 
tossed right out the window! Again, the DeLorean I am looking at (have yet 
to see it in person) has a few engine troubles. It doesn't run right, and 
spits out black smoke, sputters, and stalls. It only has 3,000 miles on it. 
It has been stored for most of it's life (indoors and outdoors). What could 
be the problem. I guessed that it might just need a simple CO adjustment, 
but with the well known temperment of these car, I guess I fear the worst. 
Tell me, is there anything to look for when I go and see (drive if possible) 
this car? ANy tell-tale signs of damage or wear from age? Let me know. I am 
desperate!
