Stian, The warning means not to remove the screws at the switch, if you do you will have springs and contact strips flying out of the switch. A groaning fuel pump generally indicates that the pump is straining to suck fuel from the tank, this is most commonly caused by a collapsed or kinked fuel pick-up hose.
