As there will undoubtedly be no new 'Delorean', it is entirely likely that there might be another car designed by John Delorean. No one can deny his ability at designing cars. It's much more likely that Mr. D is working with another company to design a new car (after all, there is that patent on that new engine to prove that he has a few ideas up his sleeve...). That way, Delorean is kept safely away from financial descisions, and the company is safe, and John Z gets to design some great cars.
