Stian, The decision to use polyurethane was to allow flexibility in low speed impacts. The fascias can easily withstand a 5mph impact without permanent damage. If the fascia was fiberglass the same impact would cause extensive damage which could require replacement of the entire unit. Keep in mind the word "glass"The problem with warping, better known as the "eye brow" is easily corrected with the insertion of a metal reinforcement bar. We have done many of these installations with very good results.
