>I have been with the DML since October of 97 and I must say that I have been >very pleased with the list the way it is and I feel there is no need for any >changes. I second the motion to keep the DML as it currently is. I've been a member since the beginning (I was one of the first 10 to sign up) and I think it works just fine as it runs now. The only thing I would like to see improved is the search engines. For example, it'd be nice to have a fielded search ability and the ability to do boolean and range-based searches. For example, you could search for any message written after 1/1/98 with the words tire and tread within four words of each other but not written by Billy-Bob Tucker. ('cuz you know ol' Billy-Bob runs retreads on his DeLorean anyway). It'd also be nice if it presented each message individually instead of the results being in digest form. But maybe I'll take that one on myself here shortly. I'd also like to thank all those involved in making it happen from David Takeuchi to James Espey, to the current team. This list played a VERY important role in my decision to buy a DeLorean and, despite Ed Bernstein's opinion of it, is a great asset to the entire DeLorean community. --Rob Hook
