Jonathan, Your problem is common. We suggest that owners carry a can or two of "Flat Fix" or similar brands in their DeLoreans. The spare tires just don't hold air. If you get a flat and by chance you have a fully inflated spare (very unlikely) it is only practical to use the spare on the front of the car. When used on the rear, the car will list as much as 4 inches restricting driving at any real speed (also looks real stupid). Here is one more interesting fact. The rear tires will not fit in the luggage compartment therefore if you are carrying a passenger there is not practical location to store the flat rear tire, you might have to leave that expensive wheel and tire on the side of the road. The Flat Fix type products are easy to use and do work especially if you get a flat on a cold rainy night.
