I have both a D and a '77 Vette. The D is a stock 83 5-speed, and the
Vette is an L-82 with a 420hp engine + sidepipes. The Vette was FAR
cheaper (to buy anyway -- it gets about 5mpg), is far roomier, and way
faster. The Vette is a fairly poorly made car though, and I'm constantly
having components fail on me.

Overall I prefer the Delorean, except on days when I want take the top
off and go to the beach, etc....... Or when I want to push myself back
into the seat...
