I believe several of the vendors, at least Grady, offer a fiberglass replacement for the cardboard "form" that the headliner material is attached to. I have seen several cars where the headliner material itself has been replaced with leather - hardly original but looks nice. Both of these changes will probably tend to raise the interior noise level of the car due to the more solid (less noise insulation, and "shinier") nature of the materials. dave "ross milstein" <defiantin-@xxxx> wrote: original article:http://www.egroups.com/group/dmcnews/?start=5950 > Has anyone come up with a way be it fiberglass, leather, vinyl etc, > that is more permanent and expensive looking than the droopy felt? > What are your experiences?
