Several years back I came across a set of assembly process
sheets for the DeLorean. Having worked for Ford for many years I expected
details such as torque specifications and tooling types. Unfortunately they, for
the most part, were just general job descriptions for the various departments
such as chassis, trim, motor line and so on. There were, however, 42 drawings
that show greater detail than the parts book for a variety of subjects. I put
four drawings of the shift linkage in the vault in a folder called PROCESS A.
I'll post more there when I have time. By the way, the vault is getting a pretty
long list of folders and I wonder if some of the older ones, such as the 'campus
roll over ' picture might have served their purpose and could be
removed.
