Some people obviously mistook your post about the wire brush you're using. I see that you said it had copper bristles, and not regular metal ones. Ok, so brass in the stainless won't cause rust spots... but it might cause ugly green corrosion spots. I mean, isn't the Statue of Liberty plated in copper? That's why she's green; from being exposed to the elements and especially the saltwater in the bay.
