Traderonline.com to be exact. I had talked to several peopl I saw selling DeLoreans on the net before I bought mine. The gentleman I bought mine from lived in Michigan and I live in NJ. So needless to say I couldnt go look at it before I decided to buy it. The best thing is to try to establish a good rapport with the seller. The gentleman I bought my DeLorean from seemed like a very honest gentleman. When I asked for pictures of the car, he in turn sent me a video he made detailing the entire car and also driving it. He showed me the entire car in both night and day. Even pointing out the two minor things that needed to be fixed. The car only had 7500 miles. In any case I believed I had attained enough from the video and my talks with the owner to "trust" him enough to decide to buy the car sight unseen. I drove to Michigan in one day (13 hours), stayed overnight, and rented a U Haul car trailer to tow the DeLorean home with the nest day. Everything went great and the seller even helped me with getting a hotel room for the night and paid for the trailer rental. Bottom line is try to find someone you can trust and establish a good relationship with them before buying anything "sight unseen". There will always be uncertainties. However this along with becoming as knowledgeable about the DeLorean as you can before buying one is the best prevention for getting a lemon there is in my opinion.
