Later in the Q your specific parts question is answered, so I won't do so
again, but I would like to offer you a suggestion................no offense
intended!



Yes there are cross referenced non-delorean parts list and yes many of
todays equivalents are much better quality, but you should use original
parts when ever possible, with few exceptions there is little cost
difference. I have some serious doubt in any mechanic that doesn't know
what parts to order in a tune up. With the exception of very common parts I
would suggest that you consider using parts from a DeLorean supplier.
