I recently replaced the A/C panel sticker with a new one from DMC Houston. It varied slightly from the original, having the white bars, but given my earlier negative comments about concours events I felt I had no right to complain. :-)
The odd part is that I have a late '81 VIN, and have ahard time believing there were any stickers left over from the first 1500 cars. I just kinda assumed that the new sticker I just got was a reproduction.
BTW, I got the new sticker because I peeled off the old one in an attempt to stop the panel light leaks via the liberal use of black paint. Do those stray rays bother anyone else, or is it just me?

The fascia panel was updated from vin # 1964 on. The functions of the
hardware were unchanged.
