For the record, the infamous David E.Davis is editor and publication
director of Automobile
Magazine, he wrote for Car & Driver before that, he has been an
automotive journalist for
almost 40 years. He actually started Automobile Magazine. In the July 1999
issue he does
a plug for his new book "Thus Spake David E." Hard to believe that someone
who says
they are "obsessed with cars" has become so jaded and bitter over the years
that he has
to insult specific marks, which in turn insults and degrades every person
that sacrificed there
time and effort to make sure the average person could enjoy there labor of
love i.e. Deloreans,
Tuckers, Kaiser-Frasiers or any of the many other interesting marques that
we love. Of course
most people will like one make more than another, but when it comes down to
it, it doesn't
matter what car you like, AS LONG AS YOU LIKE CARS. I think David E Davis
forgot this
somewhere along the way when his ego took over his writing pen.
Near the end of his paragraph plugging his first book, he ends with "I
really hope you'll each by a dozen or so copies. I know I will". GUESS HOW
MANY COPIES I'M GOING TO BUY?!?!?
