You know, I think the best use for this CARFAX service would be to complete the DMC production chronology. I'm not suggesting that someone should plug in ALL of the possible VINs, just the unknown ones that appear to be in gaps. If the car has ever been registered, it should show up in the database and can be added to the chronology. There's over 1000 people on the list, right? Everybody gets 10 VINs to look up. :-) Gus Schlachter Austin, TX VIN# 4695 > -----Original Message----- > From: DMC83in99@xxxx [mailto:DMC83in99@xxxx] > Sent: Saturday, December 04, 1999 2:00 PM > To: dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: [DML] Re: Want your VIN rerport run free 2? > > > I think what Devin meant to type was www.carfax.com- I went to this site > about a week before buying mine. > > > Scott > #16738 > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Before posting messages or replies, see the posting policy rules at: > www.dmcnews.com/Admin/rules.html > > To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: > moderator@xxxx > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > eGroups.com Home: http://www.egroups.com/group/dmcnews/ > http://www.egroups.com - Simplifying group communications > >
