Getting Inside the frame is always a tough issue. On old cars that I have restored, I have cut holes in to the frame to be able to get out the old rust chunks and insure proper ventilation of these spaces. It has never hurt the value of these cars when selling them. You can sand blast into these holes to remove as much rust as possible. Usually, these need only be 1/2 inch in diameter. One at each end so that the air and sand flow out the other end. Study the frame design and drill the appropriate holes. My experience with the delorean frame is that most rust starts at the laminate sections. I soak these repeatedly with phosphoric acid. for a few days. A garden sprayer can be used to spray this stuff inside the frame. After about a week, I air spray in the yellow death. And so on with the other paints. Some purists will not agree at drill holes. However, if you have had to continuous treat a rust problem on a frame, you eventually will put the hole in one way or the other. bob
