I'm not going to argue with you that 20 grand isn't a lot of money, but you've got to remember that these folks are in the business of making money. With the engineering, modifications, parts, and time put into this project, $20,000 is a reasonable price. Being a Cadillac guy, I know you can pick up a used Northstar for anywhere between $4K-$8K. I just had the chance of buying the smaller "Northstar" used in the Olds Aurora for $3,000. I had to turn it down because my D. is an automatic--otherwise I would have jumped on it. So take it easy on these guys, if you develope something this cool wouldn't you want some good money for it?? --Jonathan #000697 St. Louis, MO ------------------------------- Is that what it cost for the Northstar engine? $20,000! If that is for a stock, nothing special Cadilac engine that is INSANE! You have to be able to do far better for far less money. Surely you could come up with a better horsepower to dollar ratio. If I am missing something here please let me know, maybe that engine is worth the money-- I am not an expert. C Vin 16367
