I was looking through an earth science high school
book for the fun of it. I got to a part that covered different metal alloys. It
mentioned stainless steal, and as an example they used the DeLorean. They showed
a picture of the car. The car was one of the early prototypes with those weird
slotted wheels and sliding windows. Next to the pic, it reads "Stainless Steel
has many uses because of it's resistance to oxidation. The body of this sports
car should last indefinitely." I thought it was kinda neat.
