I have to agree with Yukio on this one. Dave, when I bought my 83, it was not in the best shape. I had never seen it, much less heard it run, or even knew if it did run. I bought this car purely on a feeling I had that it was either now or never. When they delivered the car to me, midnight on a Friday night, all I could do was go over it with a flashlight. It glistened when the light hit the grain right; it was definately the most beautiful sight I had ever seen. The next morning, I started taking in the damage. Front and rear fascias faded and chipping. Cracked binnacle. Bad gas struts. And most importantly, it didn't run. Entire cold start process was dead. It was stuck in third gear. That's when the infamous "I have bit off more than I can chew" thought came into my mind. But I persevered. It is now almost 2 months later. All major problems have been fixed. She runs incredibly good for a car that had as much wrong with her as #16738 did. I went into this knowing this car needed much work as you did, and trust me, the minute you finally get it on the road after all the work you've done, you will know it's all worth it. Scott #16738
