My '81 #5732 had the original horns and they sounded like a bleating sheep on it's deathbed. I went to Pep Boys and got a replacement set for only $19.95. They come in a package of two with a single center post that mounts right in the place of the original. It also has one terminal to plug in as the original. There were others that a 2 terminal type but I wanted one exactly like the original. The ones I bought have a red upper body and a silver plastic "grate" over the horn opening. A little tacky looking but BOY do they sound great!!! So, if your car horns sound like a duck being choked, drop the $20.00 for a new set. It took all of 5 minutes to replace. It also came with a new horn relay. I didn't put it in as the horns work fine. I was also unsure if it would even work properly. I didn't want to take the chance. Anyone know if this is worth keeping as a backup? Tom Watkins #5732
