The best replacement tire is the Yokohama AVS Intermediate, which is the only reasonable street/performance tire available in both sizes, to my knowledge. It is easy to find tires in either size. The trick is finding the *same model* tire in both sizes. If you have different kinds of tire (or, in some cases, even the same model tire from different production runs) on front and back, your handling can be affected (usually adversely). How much it is affected depends on which specific tires you're using and how hard you drive the car. Some people actually like to do it this way - put snow-oriented all season tires on the rear and rain oriented tires on the front, for maximum traction in adverse weather. I've never heard of this on a DeLorean. > for the rear that has the same speed rating. Is having a different > speed rating (front and rear) a problem? Should I go with a different Not in and of itself, no.
