I am still trying to diagnose the problem I have been having in which my backup lights are on in Park and Neutral, as well as reverse. I have removed the multifunctin switch from the transmission for examination. The lights go on and off when I press one of the two little buttons, but no positioning of the switch in its place will make the lights go off with the car in Park. Is there some kind of adjustment of the mechinism inside the transmission that activates this switch, or is the switch itself defective? (it shows some subtle signs of having been hit at some point). Does anybody have a switch assembly left over from a governor computer transplant that they would be willing to part with? Other than replacing the switch, I am running out of debugging ideas. --pete
