You can say that in the same context of the Wright Bros and Henry As far as JZD, - well he just screwed up. Here's a final thought for you - if the Delorean is such a "mechanical wonder" why do you compare it to a "mid 80's Lotus Esprit" (same for Bricklin) - shouldn't the standard be the Bricklin and/or Delorean. Steve #10688 >> I guess some people can't figure out simple things,my meaning of saying a B and D owner since 1980 meant that I have owned a Bricklin since 1980,and a Delorean since the beginning (1981)Also Mal.Bricklin did not build the Yugo,he was the legalized sole importer,as he was for the Suburu, also the reason I said the Lotus esprit,is because anybody that knows anything about Deloreans, knows that Lotus engineering did the total engineering on the Delorean, they started with a clean sheet of paper, using the basic concepts from the lotus esprit, look at a Lotus Esprit frame layout and suspension layout and you will see that they are the same basic concepts,in fact some of the parts from a Lotus Esprit will fit/bolt on directly on the Delorean.
