They came from the "Factory" with aluminum caps, but in talking with some of the "experts" about this I found many of the caps were changed to black plastic at the Quality Centers because the alum caps and stems were corroding and getting stuck from the salt from the boat trip over from Ireland and they couldn't get the caps off. So this means some of the early cars were delivered with alum caps while some of the later cars were delivered with plastic. I don't think anyone knows what VIN's are involved with the switch. Maybe James can shed more light on this one. Marty
