Leaving the car show in Naugatuck last Friday night, I ran over something on Rt.8. Everything was fine for a few miles, but just before my exit I felt my left rear tire going flat By the bottom of the ramp, when I just pulled over, I saw it was destroyed. I put on the donut - FLAT! It's now about 11 PM. Tried to wave down a car to get a pump or something. no luck. then a women with a little kid in the back seat pulls up and asks if she can help. No pump or can of flat stuff, but she offers me her donut. Almost fit! She appologises she couldn't help me! I now go off in search of an air pump or flat fix can. A quarter mile is a bar and someone gives me 1/2 an old can. I buy them a drink and have one myself. Hear comes the good part: I get back to the D to find a new can of flat fixed next to my tire!! That blew me away. I just stood there for a minute feeling goodness. What a nice thing! I don't even know who she is. There's only a little more. The old 1/2 can didn't work. The new one did. Back to the bar, closed it up, partied all night with new friends, saw sunrise on my boat, went Bluefishing (no luck), SCUBA diving with my sun in the PM, and then to bed early Saturday night.
