Dear DML, (again) Well more inquisitiveness has lead to the question about frame rust. Yes I know about the epoxy resin that the frame was once dipped into to prevent this very problem. However I mean to ask about traditional maintenance of the frame such as things like yearly (or more) oil sprayings with a specially formulated rust inhibitor such as Crown or Rust Check. Is this a feasible (and yes I know its ugly) solution? I mean after all, I've been doing it to my Volvo 240 for Eighteen years and the ALL PLAIN STEEL body is the only thing that seems to be lasting! So shouldn't it work? Mike Mishka1@xxxx P.s. I found out from the archive that the D engine produces about 100 hp or 134 ft. lbs o' torque, roughl;y the same as my inline four on my Volvo.
