Below is a message I received from Richard Cutter. I lost the URL, but it was posted to the DML a few weeks back. This outfit has a number of kits for the Fiero including a Northstar. Everything sounds good, except for the price! With turbos on the PRV6, we could probably get 0-60 in 7 seconds. Turbos are significantly less than 20K Considering the wide use of the PRV in Europe, including high performance and race cars, I dont understand why we cant just get 250+ HP from the PRV. > We are working on a Northstar V8 conversion and this will take 3 to 4 > months to complete and start testing. > Our Plans include: > - Stick Shift only... > - In-house conversion only, no kits !!!! > - No modification that cannot be easly reversed to the DeLorean... > - Modifications will be made to engine not the DeLorean... > - All parts that have been removed are boxed and returned to the customer > as to allow return to origional powertrain configuration. > - Cost will be a minor factor, quality of installation is most important... > We will not post anything on the web site until the conversion is complete > and we are ready to offer the conversion. > As you can expect there iss a lot to work out and test so there is little > information that we can say about it now except we are presently working on > it now > and check back with us in a few months...
