Assuming this list is truly for US, the subscribers, I find it only natural that WE decide when an andividual or organization is abusing our list. The moderator's job is to organize and distribute the list, weeding out OBVIOUS junk. If however, a posting is even remotely relevant, it should be posted. If we the subscribers begin to see a trend, such a vendor submitting "sale" adds, then WE should notify the moderator, privately if necessary. It would then be the moderator's job to watch submissions from that vendor a little more closely. I personally have never seen such a posting on here and I appreciate the posting from DMC Joe and James. (In fact, sometimes Joe's comments/instructions are so detailed, I think he's "cutting his own throat".) This kind of selfless devotion to helping people is what we need on the list, not abuses in the form of "sale" adds or moderator censorship. All IMHO, of course. Steve
