[DML] Removing Rust Stains

Regarding rust from ordinary steel wool being used on the stainless body of a 
Delorean: Has anyone ever tried carefully using a high pressure power washer 
to actually get the steel particles out of the stainless? Rust stain 
cleaners will remove the stains caused as the embedded steel particles 
rusting, but if the particles aren't actually removed, (if they even can be) 
the rust stains will eventually return.

I haven't actually had this problem so I haven't had a chance to test this 
theory, but I was just wondering if anyone has tried it or has a reason not 
to. Just a suggestion.
