However, it's not really a good example of the price of DeLoreans in Australia. We bought ours (an RHD '82 model) for substantially less, and there is currently a LHD DeLorean in Melbourne listed at $35,000 (you can check it out at www.intercar.com.au - type "DeLorean" into the search field). I believe you would pay nearly as much as that "concours winner" if you were to import one from the USA, because there are so many fees, duties and taxes involved that it'd drive you 'round the bend (not to mention the low exchange rates)! Plus, the RTA (in NSW at least) requires that all imported vehicles be converted to RHD for them to be considered road-worthy. Anyway, that's my 2 cents... R.
