The issue I had with my D, was that I wanted a 60 month loan (I decided to finance more up front, than buy a D that needed work on it) However since it was a used car older than 8 years, banks would only offer me a 36 month loan Max. Therefore I turned to Hemmings and found classic car financing. The intrest rate was 2 points higher that my bank (credit union), but still at 9.75% it was a good deal. Therefore if you look hard enough, you will find a company. Also the internet has alot of classic car financing sites. You may have to look around a bit, but you should be able to get rates comparable to any other used car. If it develops that there really is no one in your community to turn to, check financing sources in Hemmings.
