Uh, Justin, what's "bullcrap"? Your reply was not to any particular posting. Are you in agreement with me or not? Your response is not entirely clear. BTW, who is Lee Seiler? (Please forgive me, but I am new to the DML.) I hold my DeLorean to the "highest standards possible" to be a potential 99+ point concours car (with a minimum of spit and polish as I previously noted). I do agree with you that a $15K D is, at best, in "fair" condition. Regards, Ed Thompson (#6419) Midlothian, VA >> Sorry for not being too clear. When I said that this was "Bullcrap" I was refering to the priceguide listed by someone else on the list claiming that a concours DeLorean was only worth about $15,000, if a MINT DeLorean with shrinkwrap on the seats was for sale at $20,000. From all the concours DeLoreans that I have seen for sale, thats about $10,000 below a typically fair price for the car. Most DeLoreans that go for about $15,000 are daily drivers or simply in fair condition in need of a little love and elbow greese. BTW, Lee Seiler is a well respected person in the DeLorean community. He created the new DeLorean key blanks, and also the limited edition DeLorean models. One last thing.....if I offended anybody on the list with my "bullcrap" I'm truly sorry. I just get a little defensive when someone tells me that my DeLorean is worth $7,500 less than what I just paid for it :-) All Im saying is that from what I have seen, any concours DeLorean is worth much more than $15,000 Justin ------------------------------------------------------------------------ To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address to moderator@xxxx
