Alex, The price range you're looking at is about what you should expect to pay for a DeLorean in good condition. I don't drive mine daily, so I cannot speak about its reliability as a daily driver, but I know several people who use their D's as their primary mode of transportation and have few problems. The most important thing I can tell you is don't buy the first one you come across. Look at several cars and have them checked out thoroughly by someone who understands European autos. Don't buy one with extrememly low mileage, ie less than 20000. I bought one with very low miles and discovered that not being driven destroys a car's components faster than driving it everyday. Look in "Hemmings Motor News" and check the major D parts suppliers. Most of them sell refurbished D's. Good luck in your search.
