[DML] Thermotime sensor

After having my car for a year I just discovered that the
wires to the thermotime sensor (the one in the thermostat
housing)are not connected. A wire is connected to one
side of the lead and ran to ground. Wouldn't this
cause the cold start valve to stay open all the time? I am
assuming this was done because the thermotime sensor
is bad. How can I check the sensor?

I have another question on the control pressure regulator.
Mine does not have vacuum connections on it. Is this
the wrong regulator or a later version?

Thanks for helping me return my car to it original condition!

Steve
