Folks, Lowering the DeLorean by the "cut and swap" method is a no, no. All of the "effects" have been posted by everyone. Most of these posting has basically describing the disadvantages of the cut and swap method. The other problem which is not and have not been addressed in lowering the DeLorean is the rear alignment problem. This cannot be corrected unless you make adapters or make new trailing arm units. You must correct for the new height difference. You must get the trailing arm alignment right for the handling and for safety, plus you suffer premature wear on your rear tires.
