Those of us driving in the bargain basement have used Goodyear Eagles for years with excellent results. Standard was GT II, now discontinued but a bargain if you can find needed sizes in remaining stock (this fall I supplied an owner with 4 brand new for $160). Replacement is something like the Eagle HR. More expensive than discontinued GT II's, but still cheaper than Michelin.
